lisa-black-whiteI’m eclectic, a lover of big ideas and worthy people, especially teachers, students, and all people who want to make a difference in this world.  I’ve spent the last twenty years moving between academia and the corporate world, an edupreneur before the word existed 🙂

I started in professional education as an elementary school teacher…wait, I actually started as a teaching assistant!  That’s where I realized it’s so important to have fun and feel engaged while learning. Being inquisitive and playing games are still a part of what I do today, and permeate my work, research and teaching.  I’m passionate in my work, and hold high standards for myself and others, while striving to remain light of heart.  Quite a feat!  I’m eternally fascinated by the impact technology is having on society, our relationships, our bodies and our minds.
