Interact live with ARVEL SIG workshop on Monday!

ARVEL SIG (Applied Research in Virtual Environments for Learning Special Interest Group) is hosting a full program of events at AERA, starting this Saturday and running through Wednesday.   The AERA annual meeting is the largest educational research conference in the world with over 12,000 attendees this year.

A special treat this year is our hands-on workshop on “Conducting Educational Research in Virtual Worlds” Drop in, no cost, meet SIG officers, journal editors, and researchers who can teach you the “how-to’s” of research in virtual learning environments.

Can’t attend the  workshop in person?   Then join us on CAVE (Community of Academic Virtual Educators) in Second Life as we interact live from the workshop in Denver!

Organizational leaders from AECT, iNACOL, and ARVEL SIG will showcase their efforts on CAVE , and Chris Haskell will host an interactive activity during this event. Live inworld support will be available. Levity provided by Ross Perkins. Claudia Linden will be dropping in to say hello, as well.
